Without adequate calories, building big arms would be a far fetched task. This means eating more calories than your burning, and probably more calories than you're eating at the moment. You want to get most of your calories from protein and complex carbohydrates. Fat is just as important as any other part of your diet, it just needs to come from healthy fat sources.

To get bigger biceps you must get a bigger body. Training other body parts with enough intensity would trigger what is known as "the spillover effect" which adds more mass on your arms. Building big arms is a lot easier if you place equal emphasis on other muscle groups in your body.

Bottled Water Same Quality as Tap Water, Says Study

An October, 2008, analysis of bottled water showed many chemical contaminants in each brand analyzed at levels no different from those in tap water.

The Environmental Working Group of Washington, DC, purchased 10 bottled water brands in nine states and the District of Columbia. A lab found traces of 38 pollutants, averaging eight pollutants per brand. In addition, four of the brands showed bacterial contamination (http://www.ewg.org/reports/bottledwater).

Two of the brands, Walmart's and Giant's store brands, were chemically indistinguishable from tap water, containing chlorine disinfectant byproducts. Giant's brand also contained fluoride. These levels of chlorine byproducts exceeded the safety standards set by the bottled water industry and the state of California.

The lab at the University of Iowa found pollutants ranging from caffeine and Tylenol to arsenic, radioactive isotopes, ammonia and nitrate (fertilizer residues), and solvents, propellants, plasticizers, and others.

Concerned about estrogen-disrupting and cancer-promoting chemicals from plastic bottles, the researchers also conducted tests to see whether the bottled water brands spurred growth of breast cancer cells. They found one brand spurred a 78 percent increase in growth of breast cancer cells compared to the control sample.

Americans are drinking more than nine billion gallons of bottled water yearly, at a typical cost of $3.79 per gallon. But this study shows, and the EPA points out, "Bottled water is not necessarily safer than your tap water (www.epa.gov/ogwdw/faq/faq.html). That's because the EPA sets tap water standards, and the FDA sets bottled water standards based on the EPA's tap water standards.

There are many myths about skin care that circle around. It can be frustrating to know where to turn for the help you need. You dont want to waste time on things that wont work but you also dont want to discount the thing that may be your cure. Here are just a few of the myths that can cause problems.

Myth #1: Wash your face Morning, Noon and Night.

This is harmful myth. The truth to this is that if you wash your face that many times during the day you are actually making it harder for your skin to be as healthy as it can. Washing your skin is good, once a day. More then and you are taking out the oils that are actually helpful for your skin. So instead of doing all three choose one time, morning, noon OR night, and wash your skin daily at that time

Myth #2: Sunscreen is to be used whenever you are going to be exposed to the sun for long periods of time

This myth is actually a half truth. If you are going to be exposed to the sun for a long period of time (i.e boating, or hiking or biking, or playing in a park) then sunscreen with a high SPF is an absolute must. However that is not the only time sunscreen is a good idea.

Sunscreen actually is better on a daily basis. Find a low SPF sunscreen and apply it daily, even during winter months. This helps give your skin the daily protection it needs. The sun is daily attacking your skin every time that it can, sunscreen can be your daily protection from that ensuring beautiful skin in later years.

Myth #3: Dont let zits grow at all, stop them as soon as you can.

Again this is another half truth. Yes you want to stop zits as soon as they start to come but that doesn't mean they wont have to run their course first. When you see a zit dont pick it apart. This only hurts because it causes two things: scars and more zits. Instead find a zit and blemish cream and apply it on a regular basis. No amount of picking will help heal it faster. A quick recovery means proper treatment and a good skin care routine.

Do you know what to do when you don't feel like exercising?

Sometime throughout your fitness journey you'll feel like missing out your strength training session.

There could be tons of whys and wherefores. You may be busy for time, you may be apathetic, you may feel worn-out or aching from your last session regardless the case, you don't feel like getting down to it and going to the gym.

It's times like this when you get the chance to build your resolve, self-discipline, and "never say die" attitude.

Now is actually is one of those days for me...

My quads are still really aching from the high intensity tabata protocol I did yesterday on my rest day, plus I didn't get sufficient protein to help build up my strength.

And I must of ate something bad last night because I puke when I woke up at 4am this morning...

So at this point I have two choices: 1.) miss out my strength training session today or 2.) Execute the session as planned, but adjust as needed.

What am I gonna choose?

I'm going to carry out my session as planned and find my feet as needed!

So How Can You Get On When You Don't Want It?

The minute I enter the weight room today, I might find my warm up sets are feeling extra hard. Possibly the weights aren't moving as easily as I want to.

I'll probably still do my first set at the suggested poundage, however I may have to move away slightly on the next two sets in any case.

Consistency Is Key

The key is I'm going to get in there and do my strength training session just like I had planned. Why? Because I know it'll be better for me in the long run.

Even though I can't perform at maximum it's all right. I'm still getting a TON of other benefits just by keeping fit.

What's more, I'm building the not refraining from the habit.

Plus - you'll never make steady progress again and again - you will have amazing days, not so amazing days, and downright crappy training days its entirely just a part of the game.

The secret is to complete what you established and bring in the rewards for being consistent.

It also allows them to feel secure and not have to help new teachers get to know what level they are at with their schooling.

Dedication to their pupils comes through rigorous training and years of dance experience. Because of their love for dance they are passing on their experience to others. That level of commitment is difficult to find in a part time teacher and can often result in pupils that fall behind their other peers who have access quality teachers.

It takes a very committed and talented individual to train young people in dance. While most people find dancing comes naturally and is enjoyable, the discipline involved with refining raw talent into sculptured craft doesn't just occur. Professional teachers have been trained to bring out the best in young people. There is a lot of persuasion involved with young people when it comes to practicing skills. It might cost a little more for a professional teacher, but it could mean the difference between a child loving dance and regretting they tried to learn.
